Users may encounter challenges when attempting to establish an SMTP connection between their email inbox and Recruitly. Below, we provide solutions to address common issues you might face.


For Google Account Users-

To Disable "Allow Less Secure Apps" :

1. Access your Google Account settings.

2. Go to the "Security" section on the left-hand menu.

3. Scroll down and find "Less secure app access."

4. Enable this option.


To Set Up App Password :

1. Return to your Google Account settings.

2. Under "Security," locate "App passwords."


3. Generate a new app password specifically for Recruitly.


4. Use this app password to establish the SMTP connection with Recruitly.

Note: It's essential to avoid using your main account password for SMTP connections. Instead, generate and utilize app passwords for enhanced security.
