Configuring job application templates in Recruitly ensures that you capture job-specific details from candidates effectively.

The step-by-step process outlined below simplifies the creation and customization of templates, allowing you to tailor your application forms according to different job requirements.

Follow the Steps Below to Configure Job Application Templates in Recruitly:

  1. Click on the user icon at the top right corner of the screen and navigate to the "System Configuration" section.

  2. Under system settings go to the "Job Application Form" section.

  3. ​Select "+New Template" to add a new job application template.


  4. Fill in the necessary details:

  • Provide a name for the form.

  • Configure all fields, distinguishing between mandatory and optional ones.

  • Customize file settings to capture specific files.

  • Set up communication preferences under common fields.

  • Configure the privacy policy from here:

  • Configure the success and duplicate message.

  • Configure custom fields from here:

How to Create Job Application Themes:

Themes can be used to customise embedded job application forms (usually for integrated WordPress websites)and customise a publicly visible job application page.

  1. Click on the New Theme button to open the theme form.


  2. The embedded form appearance allows you to customise the embedded job application form (usually for integrated WordPress websites).

  3. You can use your own CSS Style as well.

  4. The Public Job Application Form Appearance section allows you to customise a publicly visible job application page.

  5. Configure the rest of the details as per your requirements.

  6. Save the changes.
